Ireland and Israel promote tourism at Paris trade show
Tourism representatives from Ireland and Israel are participating in the IFTM Top Résa trade show in Paris to promote travel to their respective regions. The event, which attracts approximately 30,000 industry professionals, serves as a platform for negotiating contracts and strengthening ties with French tour operators, travel agents, and media.
Tourism Ireland is showcasing a variety of regional experiences and culinary offerings with 17 partner companies. The organization aims to secure travel programs for 2027 and beyond, noting that France is one of its top four source markets.
Similarly, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, led by Director-General Michael Izhakov, is working to bolster French tourism to Israel. With France serving as Israel’s largest European source market, the delegation is meeting with airline representatives and French tourism officials to expand cooperation and increase visitor numbers.
