Ireland and Spain prepare for incoming storms and unsettled weather
Ireland is preparing for unsettled weather, with meteorologists warning of a potential storm on September 8 and 9. Following a period of sunshine, high humidity and heavy rain are expected, particularly in the north and west of the country. Met Éireann predicts cloudy and wet conditions with heavy rain in the south and southeast.
In Spain, a cold air mass from the Atlantic is expected to cause a significant drop in temperatures and increased instability following recent heatwaves. Meteored forecasts severe storms for Saturday, including heavy downpours, hail, and strong wind gusts across several regions, including Madrid, Galicia, and the Basque Country. While the Atlantic coast will see cooler temperatures, the Mediterranean region is expected to remain very hot.
