Ireland Ranked World's Most Picturesque Country

Ireland was named the most picturesque country in the world in a ranking compiled by DiscoverCars.com. The list, based on more than 6,000 ratings from international tourists, gave Ireland a score of 9.52 out of 10, placing it ahead of New Zealand, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Croatia. Only nations that received at least 50 evaluations were included. Aleksandrs Buraks, director of development at DiscoverCars.com, said the survey aimed to identify where travelers encounter the most spectacular scenery. The report highlighted Irish attractions such as the Glendalough valley, the Wild Atlantic Way, the Copper Coast, the Cliffs of Moher, Slieve League cliffs, the Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park, the Burren, Connemara, as well as the Giant’s Causeway and North Antrim in Northern Ireland. New Zealand ranked second with a score of 9.43, followed by Portugal and the UK tied for third.
