Ireland weather forecast predicts warm temperatures and missed Atlantic storm
Ireland is expected to experience a significant warm spell early next week, with temperatures potentially reaching between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius. This shift toward warmer and more humid air is forecasted to bring conditions reminiscent of late summer, despite being in late September.
While a deep low-pressure system is developing over the Atlantic, current meteorological models suggest the main body of the storm will track toward Iceland rather than directly over Ireland. Consequently, the country is expected to avoid the most intense winds and heaviest rainfall, though the outer edges of the system may still bring some wind and rain later in the week.
Following a period of unsettled weather, the upcoming weekend is forecast to be largely dry with sunny spells in many areas. Uncertainty remains for mid-week, as some weather models indicate a potential front bringing clouds and rain, while others suggest the precipitation may miss the country entirely.
