Doolin, a small coastal village in County Clare on the Wild Atlantic Way, has become a Reddit favourite. Visitors praise its cliff walk to the Moher Visitor Centre, the lower parking costs compared with the visitor centre, and its role as the main ferry port to the Aran Islands. The village’s traditional pubs and music sessions add to its appeal for hikers and tourists seeking authentic Irish culture.

At the same time, German citizens are increasingly looking to relocate to Ireland. Under EU free‑movement rules, they may enter with a passport or ID card, but those staying longer than three months must secure employment, sufficient finances, health insurance, or be a family member of an EU/EWR worker. New residents must apply for a Personal Public Service (PPS) number and complete other registration steps with the Irish Immigration Service Delivery.
