Irene Toraldo elected Donne Coldiretti interprovincial delegate

Irene Toraldo has been elected as the new interprovincial delegate for Donne Coldiretti, representing the provinces of Catanzaro, Crotone, and Vibo Valentia. The election took place in Francavilla Angitola at the farm of Stefania Mazzotta during an event titled “Women, Land, and Community – Women as Protagonists of Social Agriculture.”

The meeting focused on the opportunities provided by social agriculture, emphasizing its role in fostering inclusion, training, and support for individuals within rural communities. Discussions also addressed regional Regulation No. 10, passed on September 22, 2026, which establishes the requirements and procedures for registering social farms in the regional registry. This regulation aims to create new avenues for income diversification and employment for agricultural enterprises.
