Iress shares fall following lowered revenue guidance

Australian financial software provider Iress saw its share price fall by 9.23 percent intraday to 7.18 AUD following its 2026 half-year report. The decline occurred despite a significant increase in cash EBITDA, which rose 47.1 percent to 62.5 million AUD due to efficiency programs and streamlined operations.

While recurring revenue grew by 3.4 percent—now accounting for 95 percent of total revenue—the company lowered its full-year 2026 revenue guidance. Iress now expects revenue growth of 1 to 2 percent on a constant currency basis, down from the previously projected 3 to 5 percent.

Conversely, the company raised its full-year 2026 cash EBITDA forecast to a range of 121 to 126 million AUD and expects adjusted profit after tax (UPAT) to reach between 84 and 88 million AUD.
