Iress UK reports 43% rise in H1 2026 adjusted EBITDA

Iress UK reported a 43% increase in adjusted EBITDA for the first half of 2026, reaching £4.6m compared to £3.5m in the previous year. The technology provider saw a 3% increase in recurring revenue while reducing operating expenses by 5.3%.

The company is shifting its focus from business simplification toward product evolution and sustainable growth. This includes significant investment in its Xplan platform, which is currently utilized by five of the eight largest wealth managers in the UK by assets under management. Iress has also completed major migrations for firms such as Evelyn Partners and RBC Brewin Dolphin.

To accelerate engineering and product development, Iress is integrating artificial intelligence through a partnership with Thoughtworks. The company plans to showcase new Xplan capabilities, including AI-enabled adviser workflow and productivity tools, in November. Additionally, the Sourcing division reported record volumes across its Protection and Retirement services.
