IRGC Aerospace Force claims transition from importer to exporter of aerospace technology
Hossein Mohbi, spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), announced that the IRGC Aerospace Force has achieved the localization of aerospace knowledge and technology. He stated that this strategic development has transformed Iran from an importer of aerospace equipment into an exporter of military technology.
Mohbi highlighted that Iranian drone technology, specifically the Shahed 136, has become a global model, noting that its designs are being copied and produced under different names in various countries, including the United States. He identified the conversion of scientific knowledge into a functional military industry as a primary achievement.
Key products currently being exported to other nations include the Arman missile, the 358 drone, and the Som Khordad air defense system. The spokesperson emphasized that these advancements allow Iranian aerial technology to surpass the capabilities of adversaries.
