IRGC Commander claims enemy calculations on Iran's defense failed

Hassan Shahvarpour, commander of the Khuzestan branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that enemy calculations regarding Iran's defensive capabilities have been defeated. Speaking at an event at Islamic Azad University in Dezful, Shahvarpour claimed that adversaries expected the country's structure to collapse following the loss of certain commanders and nuclear scientists, as well as through initial shocks.

He noted that the armed forces' missile response began within the first hours of recent conflicts, altering enemy perceptions. Shahvarpour also addressed attempts at psychological warfare and social media operations intended to create the impression of an imminent collapse of the Islamic Republic, asserting that the resilience of the people and the military disproved these efforts. He further questioned the motivations behind the sustained pressure and aggression from the United States and Israel against Iran.
