Irina Shayk and Chris Fleming Join Cast of Universal’s ‘The Catch’

Irina Shayk and comedian Chris Fleming have been added to the cast of Universal Pictures’ upcoming baseball‑themed romantic comedy The Catch. The film stars Emma Stone and Chris Pine and is directed by Dave McCary, Emma Stone’s husband.

The project, written by Patrick Kang and Michael Levin, is being produced by Shawn Levy, Dan Levine, Emma Stone, Dave McCary, Ali Herting and Michael H. Weber through 21 Laps and Fruit Tree’s first‑look deal with Universal. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 21, though plot details remain undisclosed.
