Irish agricultural entrepreneurs visit Cosenza for social farming exchange
A delegation of Irish agricultural entrepreneurs visited Cosenza, Italy, as part of the Erasmus+ project “Eco-Social Innovation Seeds.” The initiative, coordinated by Fondazione Campagna Amica alongside Bluebook s. r. l. and the Inishowen Development Partnership, aims to promote social agriculture as a sustainable European model for inclusive development.
During the visit, the delegation engaged with local social inclusion projects, including the “Buoni Buoni” peasant social kitchen. This initiative involves individuals with intellectual disabilities collaborating to prepare regional dishes using local ingredients. The program also included visits to the Animagricola donkey educational farm in Rende and the L’Arca di Noè social cooperative in Carolei to facilitate direct exchange between the Irish and Calabrian agricultural sectors.
