Irish Bella shares personal IVF journey and challenges

Actress Irish Bella has shared her personal journey undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment following two unsuccessful insemination attempts. During the ‘The Alhaya Fertility Journey 2026’ event in Jakarta, she described the process as a year-long struggle that was both physically and emotionally taxing.

Bella noted that the hormonal stimulation caused significant mood swings and physical pain. To continue her efforts, she and her husband sought medical treatment in Malaysia, where she was treated by Dr. Wan Syahirah Binti Yang Mohsin, also known as Dr. Sera.

She emphasized the importance of finding a supportive doctor, stating that a strong connection and communication between the medical professional and the patient are vital when navigating the uncertainties of fertility treatments.
