Irish couple wins one million euros in Lourdes

An Irish couple won one million euros after purchasing an EuroMillions ticket during their vacation in Lourdes, France. The win was secured through the My Million game, a secondary draw associated with EuroMillions, rather than the main jackpot which had reached 98 million euros at the time of the draw on August 4, 2026.

The couple described the purchase as a “holiday fantasy” made on a whim at an E. Leclerc supermarket. Following their win, the couple expressed intentions to use the funds to purchase a home in the south of France.
