Irish football players highlighted ahead of new European season

As the new football season begins across Europe, several Irish players are positioned for significant career developments.

Troy Parrott, following a season where he scored 31 goals in 48 appearances for AZ Alkmaar, is attracting interest from major European clubs. He has been linked with a move to Spanish side Real Betis, a transition he has expressed openness toward, noting that his time in the Netherlands has broadened his perspective beyond the English Premier League.

Additionally, Festy Ebosele is looking to establish himself and find consistent playing time following his move to Erzurumspor in Turkey.
