Irish sports clubs unveil 2026 competition schedules

American Football Ireland released its Mixed Flag schedule for the 2026 season, detailing matchups such as North Down Dragons 2nds vs Belfast Knights 2nds on August 8 and a series of games through September involving teams like the Lakeland Gators, Louth Mavericks and the Cork Admirals.

Old Wesley Rugby Football Club announced its August fixtures in the Leinster Senior Cup, with games against Clontarf, UCD and Lansdowne, and highlighted an open training session with URC champions Leinster on 18 August. The club also called for renewed memberships and promoted upcoming events, including a touch tournament and a men’s shed gathering.
