Irish sports sponsorships expand with HyGo hydration partnership and Bord Gáis Energy hurling deal
HyGo Irish Still Spring Water has been named the Official Hydration Partner of Athletics Ireland. The Tipperary‑based brand will be featured across elite competitions, club events and mass‑participation runs, reaching more than 75,000 registered members and the wider running community. The partnership includes a dedicated HyGo Hydration Hub on the Athletics Ireland website, educational content, product sampling and branding on the governing body’s communications. No financial terms or contract length were disclosed.
Bord Gáis Energy has renewed its sponsorship of the GAA All‑Ireland Senior Hurling Championship for three seasons (2027‑2030) and will also serve as the Official Energy Sustainability Partner for the GAA and Croke Park. The deal adds an energy‑insights management system at Croke Park and offers clubs up to €1,500 discounts on solar‑panel installations and a €125 electricity credit. The partnership aims to improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions and support Ireland’s transition to a lower‑carbon future.
