iRobot launches Roomba Plus 675 Combo with two-step mopping

iRobot has launched the Roomba Plus 675 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock, featuring a two-step roller mopping system designed to pre-treat and remove tough stains. The device utilizes SprayForce AI pre-treatment, which applies a high-pressure spray to break down dried-on messes, followed by a continuous self-cleaning PowerSpin roller mop that uses heated water and downward pressure.

The robot includes SealForce Vacuuming technology for deep carpet cleaning and a dual anti-tangle system. For navigation, it employs ClearView Pro Dual-Line LiDAR and PrecisionVision AI to manage obstacle avoidance and room-to-room movement. The unit maintains a slim profile of 9.95cm and can climb thresholds up to 3.5cm.

Maintenance is handled by the AutoWash Dock, which performs 80°C hot-water roller washing and 55°C heated-air drying. The dock also provides up to 90 days of hands-free debris emptying. Modern robotic vacuums like these aim to transform household maintenance by providing automated, hands-free cleaning through smart navigation and scheduled programming.
