Široki Brijeg and Virovitica launch major August 2026 summer festivals

Široki Brijeg in Bosnia and Herzegovina will host the "Briješka zvona 2026" celebration from 11 to 16 August 2026, marking the city’s Day and the feast of the Assumption. The highlight is a concert by the regional pop group Magazin on 15 August, featuring new vocalist Loren Bućan, preceded by performances from local singer Marijana Soldo. The program also includes choral gatherings, the opening of the renovated Kino Borak, and a concert by MP3 Acoustic Trio.

In Virovitica, Croatia, the "Rokovo 2026" festival runs from 13 to 16 August, honoring the city’s day and its patron St. Roch. The event offers eight large music concerts, a Wine Park, street‑food stalls, creative workshops, and sports activities. A special 40 % discount on regular train tickets, valid 12 to 17 August, is offered to Croatian and Slovenian citizens traveling to Virovitica.
