Iron Maiden announces surprise 2027 North American tour
Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden have announced a surprise 16-date North American tour for the spring of 2027. This new leg serves as the third and final chapter of their 50th anniversary 'Run For Your Lives Tour'.
Originally, the band had planned to take a hiatus in 2027 following their 2026 performances. However, bassist Steve Harris stated that the decision to return was driven by the success of their recent shows in the US and Canada and a desire to reach fans in the Northwest and Southeast regions they previously missed.
The tour is scheduled to begin on April 14 in Tacoma, Washington, and will include stops in Vancouver, Phoenix, Dallas, and Atlanta, before concluding in May. The run will feature headline performances at two major festivals: Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, on May 14, and Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland, on May 16.
Supporting acts for the tour include British bands Bullet For My Valentine and The Raven Age. The band intends to bring their full production, focusing on material from their early decades, to these final anniversary shows.
