Iron Maiden announces themed race in São Paulo

Iron Maiden Run for Your Lives São Paulo heavy metal 50th anniversary

The British heavy metal band Iron Maiden has announced the ‘Run for Your Lives’ street race in São Paulo, scheduled for October 10. The event marks the beginning of celebrations for the band’s 50th career anniversary.

Participants can choose from three categories: a 5km run, a 2.5km walk, and a kids' race. The route begins at Vale do Anhangabaú and passes through several historic landmarks in central São Paulo, including the Theatro Municipal, Viaduto do Chá, and Galeria do Rock. The event will also feature a performance by the tribute band The Beast Experience.

Registration is available through Ticket Sports. Three kit tiers are offered: ‘Running Free’, ‘Killers’, and ‘Aces High’. The premium ‘Aces High’ kit includes an exclusive windbreaker and VIP access to the band’s upcoming shows. Iron Maiden is scheduled to perform in São Paulo on October 25 and 27, and in Curitiba on October 28.
