Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and Anthrax perform major tour dates in US

Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden, Megadeth, and Anthrax performed a series of massive shows as part of Iron Maiden’s ‘Run For Your Lives’ World Tour, including stops at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles and the Alamodome in San Antonio.

During the San Antonio performance, Anthrax utilized a last-minute lineup change. Drummer Mike Heller, currently with Raven, was called to replace longtime drummer Charlie Benante just hours before the concert. Heller reported that he had only a short time to learn the band’s setlist before performing for a large crowd.

At the San Antonio show, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine addressed the crowd regarding rumors of the band’s retirement, stating, ‘There were rumors that we’re retiring after this tour, and the rumors are true,’ citing issues with his hands, though he expressed hope that the band would not be gone for long.
