Iron Maiden performs 50th anniversary tour dates in South America

British heavy metal band Iron Maiden is conducting its ‘Run For Your Lives’ world tour, celebrating 50 years of history with major performances across South America.

In Lima, Peru, the band is scheduled to perform at the Estadio Nacional on October 17. Promoter Move Concerts reports that 90% of tickets for the Lima show have already been sold. The expected setlist includes 18 songs, ranging from early classics like ‘The Ides of March’ and ‘Killers’ to anthems such as ‘The Number of the Beast’ and ‘Fear of the Dark’. Guitarist Adrian Smith noted the multi-generational appeal of the band’s music during recent interviews.

In Quito, Ecuador, the band is set to perform at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa on October 14. Authorities expect up to 30,000 to 35,000 attendees. To manage the event, the Agencia Metropolitana de Tránsito (AMT) has announced road closures around the stadium from the morning of the concert until early the following day. Public transport services, including the Ecovía, will extend their operating hours until midnight to assist fans with returning home.

Additionally, the tour includes scheduled dates in Chile, with two concerts planned for the Estadio Nacional in Santiago on October 31 and November 1.
