Iron ore shipment arrives for Fermosa Biosiderúrgica plant in Formosa
A new shipment of 7,400 tons of iron ore has arrived in Formosa, Argentina, to support the Fermosa Biosiderúrgica industrial plant. The raw material was delivered via three barges through the Paraguay-Paraná waterway.
Fermosa Biosiderúrgica is a company backed by Brazilian capital. Fernando De Vido, President of the REFSA Board, stated that the arrival of these supplies marks a significant milestone for the province's development model and demonstrates private investment confidence in the region.
The project aims to establish a local production chain by converting vinal wood into charcoal to serve as a constant energy source for the industrial process.
