Iron & Wine announces deluxe edition of Hen’s Teeth

Iron & Wine, the musical project of Sam Beam, has announced the release of “Hen’s Teeth (Deluxe Edition)” through Sub Pop. The expanded album is scheduled for worldwide release on September 22.

The deluxe edition includes six additional recordings: four previously unreleased songs and acoustic versions of two tracks from the original album. The unreleased material originated from Los Angeles recording sessions conducted during the creation of the sibling records “Light Verse” and “Hen’s Teeth.”

Accompanying the announcement is the release of the song “California Sober,” which was the final track written and recorded during those sessions. The deluxe tracklist also features acoustic renditions of “In Your Ocean” and “Grace Notes.” The original “Hen’s Teeth” album was released in February and included collaborations with the band I’m With Her.
