The Ironman 70.3 triathlon in Hradec Králové featured notable individual achievements, including South Bohemian Governor Martin Kuba and athlete Petra Václavková.

Martin Kuba completed his first Half Ironman, covering 1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling, and 21.1 km running with a time of 5 hours and 31 minutes. Kuba noted that the intense training over the past year was essential, particularly for the swimming portion, which was a new discipline for him.

Petra Václavková, a member of Spartak Trutnov, competed despite having only one arm. She finished 21st in her category and 14th in her hundred-person group. Václavková, who previously struggled with self-acceptance regarding her prosthesis, described her participation as a personal victory and a testament to her identity as an athlete.
