IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun to host final Pro Series event

The IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun will take place on August 30, serving as the 14th and final regular-season stop of the IRONMAN Pro Series. The event offers 2,500 Pro Series points and a $50,000 prize purse, acting as a critical final test for athletes preparing for the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice on September 13.

In the women’s professional field, Laura Philipp enters the race seeking to improve her standing in the Pro Series. She is joined by Austrian athlete Lisa Perterer, the 2025 runner-up at this location, who currently sits 11th in the standings. Other notable competitors include British athletes India Lee, Rebecca Anderbury, and Nikki Bartlett.

The men’s field features defending champion Fabian Kraft and two-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion Jelle Geens, who is aiming for a record third consecutive world title. Trevor Foley, currently second in the Pro Series standings, will also compete to close the gap at the top of the rankings.
