Irumudi approaches Rs 200 crore India mark after third weekend

The film Irumudi, starring Ravi Teja and directed by Shiva Nirvana, has demonstrated strong box office endurance, approaching major revenue milestones after its third weekend of release.

In India, the film has reached a total gross of approximately Rs 196 crore. The third weekend showed significant momentum, particularly on Sunday, which saw a 40 percent increase in daily gross compared to Saturday. The Telugu-speaking states remain the primary driver of revenue, accounting for the vast majority of the domestic total, with specific contributions from Nizam, Andhra, and Ceded.

On a global scale, the film’s 17-day worldwide gross is estimated at Rs 217 crore. This total includes Rs 22 crore from overseas markets and Rs 15 crore from Karnataka. The film is currently positioned to target the Rs 250 crore worldwide milestone, with potential growth expected from the upcoming Vinayaka Chavithi holiday period.
