Irvine, California to Host Pan Pacific Championships and U.S. Junior Nationals in August 2026

The 2026 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships will take place at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatic Center in Irvine, California, from August 12‑15. Entry lists released show a deep field, with notable swimmers such as Kaylee McKeown, Mollie O’Callaghan, Canadian star Summer McIntosh, and American Regan Smith entered in multiple events. The meet allows unlimited entries per nation, though only two swimmers per country can advance to the A final.

Earlier in the month, the U.S. Junior National Championships were held in Irvine from August 3‑7. The Santa Clara Swim Club set a new National Age Group record in the boys’ 15‑18 200‑meter freestyle relay, posting a time of 1:30.23. The record‑breaking quartet comprised Aiden Zhou, Tanay Gupta, Braydon Fong and Isaac Litwiller, surpassing the previous mark set in 2023.

Both competitions highlight Irvine’s role as a key venue for elite swimming in the United States this summer.
