Isa Borroni exhibition explores femininity in Saronno

Isa Borroni is presenting an art exhibition titled ‘Pensare per immagini il femminile, tra maternità e seduzione’ (Thinking about femininity through images, between maternity and seduction) at Sala Nevera in Casa Morandi, Saronno. Running from September 19 to 27, the exhibition explores how the female figure has been represented throughout history, focusing on themes of maternity, seduction, sexuality, and the social role of women.

Borroni’s works utilize recycled materials and traditional manual techniques. The exhibition includes ‘illustrated reflections’ to provide deeper context for visitors. Scheduled events include an inauguration on September 19 and a discussion on September 26 titled ‘Dionysus and the possibility of an androgynous gaze’ featuring researcher Alessandra Filannino Indelicato.

The event is organized by the associations L’Isola che non c’è and Rete Rosa, with the patronage of the Municipality of Saronno.
