Isa Mustafa condemns Pristina's narrowing of Ilir Konushevci road

Former LDK leader and ex‑prime minister Isa Mustafa posted on Facebook to denounce the Pristina municipal decision to narrow the Ilir Konushevci road near the Llap Mosque. He described the move as an arbitrary decision that disregards the interests of residents, small businesses and commuters, and warned that it would block a key artery linking Pristina with the Llap and Gollak regions. Mustafa recalled that the road had been widened to 12 metres during the tenure of former mayor Nazmi Mustafa and urged citizens to protest the current changes, accusing the officials of “experimenting” with the public and fleeing to London.

The criticism adds to growing local opposition to the road works, with residents organising protests and demanding that the municipality respect community needs.
