Isa Pinheiro places in top eight at Copa Pacífico swimming competition

Isabelle de Almeida Pinheiro, a 17-year-old swimmer from Manaus, Brazil, achieved notable results at the Copa Pacífico de Natação held in Santiago, Chile, from October 23 to 26. As the sole representative from Brazil's Northern Region, Pinheiro secured sixth place in the 1,500m freestyle, seventh place in the 800m freestyle, and eighth place in the 400m freestyle.

This event marked Pinheiro's first international competition. The athlete, who trains at the Instituto Pedro Nicolas under coach Leandro Freire, noted that while nervousness and climatic differences presented challenges, the experience was vital for her professional development and visibility in the sporting world.
