ISA World Junior Surfing Championship 2026 progresses in El Salvador

The ISA World Junior Surfing Championship 2026 continues at La Bocana and El Sunzal in El Salvador, featuring notable performances from various international competitors.

Salvadoran surfer Manuel de Jesús Castellanos secured a direct advancement to the second round of the Men’s U-18 category after winning his first-round heat with a total score of 11.54. In contrast, Salvadoran Jesús Ezequiel Navarro was eliminated from the Men’s U-16 category after finishing third in his repechage heat.

Representing Spain, Sol Borelli advanced directly to the next round of the Women’s U-18 category following a strong performance in her first heat at La Bocana. Spanish surfer Álvaro Casanova finished third in his Men’s U-16 heat at El Sunzal and will move to the repechage for another opportunity to advance.
