Isaac Cissé Signs for Belgian Club Sporting Charleroi

Ivorian midfielder Isaac Cissé, 19, has completed a permanent transfer from South Africa's Lamontville Golden Arrows to Belgian Pro League side Sporting Charleroi. Cissé made 26 league appearances for the Golden Arrows in the 2025‑26 season, scoring five goals and helping the team finish in the top eight.

The move is seen as a direct replacement for Etienne Camara, who departed Charleroi for Panathinaikos. Charleroi announced the signing, highlighting Cissé’s defensive work‑rate, passing ability and experience with the Ivory Coast U23 national team. The transfer reportedly involves a fee between €250,000 and €500,000, making Cissé the second South African Premier Soccer League player to move to Belgium after Relebohile Mofokeng.

Cissé joins a Charleroi squad that recently added Arthur Cremer, Noah Solheid and Severin Nioule, aiming to strengthen its midfield as the club competes in the Belgian top flight.
