Isaac Cruz defends WBC title against Nestor Bravo

Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz is set to defend his interim WBC light welterweight title against Nestor Bravo at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego. The bout carries significant implications for Cruz’s career trajectory, as a dominant performance could secure a high-profile winter matchup against Ryan Garcia.

Observers note that Cruz faces risks due to his aggressive, often reckless fighting style, which leaves openings for counter-punchers. While Bravo is considered an underdog, his knockout power makes him a dangerous opponent. A lackluster showing by Cruz could diminish his commercial appeal and cause him to miss out on a potential payday against Garcia.
