Isaac Davis, 23, Found Stabbed After Disappearing from Bronx NYCHA Apartment

Isaac Davis, a 23‑year‑old autistic man, vanished from his NYCHA apartment in the Bronx’s Forest Houses on July 20. His mother reported him missing that afternoon. Over a week later, police found Davis unconscious on the Upper East Side at the intersection of Second Avenue and East 96th Street, having been stabbed twice in the back by an unknown assailant. He was transported to Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition and is expected to survive. Authorities have not made any arrests and are still investigating how Davis traveled from the Bronx to the Upper East Side and who carried out the attack. Police had earlier released a photo of Davis in a public plea to locate him.
