Isaac del Toro wins Stage 7 of Tour Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes, moves into overall contention

Mexican rider Isaac del Toro claimed a solo victory on the Grand Colombier in Stage 7 of the Tour Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes. He finished 24 seconds ahead of Spaniard Juan Ayuso and 49 seconds behind overall leader Australian Luke Tuckwell, moving into third place in the general classification. American Matteo Jorgenson, who finished fourth on the stage, is now the nearest challenger, sitting 42 seconds back in second overall.
