Isaac del Toro extends contract with UAE Team Emirates to 2031

Mexican cyclist Isaac del Toro, 22, secured a long‑term deal with the UAE Team Emirates squad, extending his contract through the end of the 2031 season. The renewal follows a breakthrough 2026 campaign in which he finished third overall in the Tour de France, won a stage and claimed the white jersey as the best young rider. Del Toro also added victories in the UAE Tour, Tirreno‑Adriatico and the Tour Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes, building on his 2023 Tour de l’Avenir win that earned him a place on the Emirati team in 2024.

The team described the extension as a major investment in a rider they view as a future cornerstone of their roster. Del Toro said the squad feels like home and that the long‑term contract gives him confidence for the next phase of his career, adding that the best is still to come.
