Isaac, featured on ‘My 600-lb Life’, struggles with weight loss goals

Isaac, a participant featured on the reality show ‘My 600-lb Life’, faced a life-threatening health crisis at age 23 when he suffered a heart attack and fell into a coma after reaching 300 kilograms. His weight gain was linked to the stress of assuming family responsibilities and caring for three younger siblings after his mother became ill.

During his appearance on the program, Dr. Nowzaradan set strict weight loss goals to qualify him for bariatric surgery. Although Isaac initially lost approximately 33 kilograms, he struggled to meet the final requirements.
