Isaac Kiese Thelin signs with SV Ried

Swedish striker Isaac Kiese Thelin has signed with the Austrian club SV Ried. The 34-year-old forward has committed to a contract lasting until 2028, bringing significant international experience to the squad.

Kiese Thelin has earned 33 caps for the Swedish national team, including an appearance at the 2018 World Cup. His career includes notable stints with Malmö FF, where he was the Allsvenskan top scorer in the 2022/23 season, and various European clubs. Most recently, he played in Japan for Urawa Red Diamonds, where he made fewer than ten appearances before seeking a new challenge in Austria.
