Isabel Bayón returns to the stage at Bienal de Flamenco

Sevillian dancer Isabel Bayón made a significant return to the stage during the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla with the performance ‘Epílogo de un cante que se hizo baile. Suite de cantes’ at the Teatro Central.

The event served as a tribute to Bayón, featuring a collaborative ensemble of singers including Antonio Campos, David Lagos, Miguel Ortega, and Inma Rivero. The musical accompaniment was provided by guitarists Jesús Torres and Juan Antonio Suárez ‘Canito’, with a special collaboration by Paco Arriaga. The performance was described as an intimate, family-like gathering that marked a personal and professional resurgence for the dancer.
