Isabel Edvardsson surprises in ‘The Masked Singer’ season premiere

The 13th season of ‘The Masked Singer’ has premiered on ProSieben, featuring dancer Isabel Edvardsson as one of the standout participants. Performing in the costume of ‘Emily Wau,’ Edvardsson surprised the panel and audience by revealing unexpected singing talents before her eventual unmasking.

Other notable moments from the season opener included the unmasking of ‘Bubble,’ a singer who attempted to hide a distinctive raspy voice. Host Matthias Opdenhövel noted that this season will feature more national and international celebrities, more masks, and more unmaskings than previous iterations.

The new format involves 16 masked celebrities competing across four decision shows in the first four episodes, with eight advancing to the semi-finals. The judging panel includes regulars Verona Pooth and Chris Tall, joined by Alec Völkel and Sascha Vollmer from The BossHoss.
