Isack Hadjar vows long‑term role beside Max Verstappen at Red Bull

Twenty‑one‑year‑old French driver Isack Hadjar, a breakout talent of the 2026 Formula 1 season, said he is confident about staying with Red Bull Racing despite the reputation of Max Verstappen’s teammate seat as the sport’s toughest challenge. He admitted that at times he has to “pinch himself” to believe how rapidly his career advanced, and that he constantly questions himself, but stresses the need to keep a poker‑face in the paddock.

Hadjar noted that the team’s environment has changed under new boss Laurent Mekies, with a refreshed philosophy and regulations that he feels work well. He credited Mekies for helping stabilise his integration after Christian Horner’s departure. Concluding, Hadjar warned that he is “here for the long haul” and has no doubt about his future alongside Verstappen.
