Isahaya to host festival celebrating Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen anniversary

To celebrate the 4th anniversary of the Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen, the ‘Kamome no Yorimichi Festa in Isahaya’ will be held on October 3 in Isahaya, Nagasaki Prefecture. The event will take place at the Isahaya City Hall Central Exchange Plaza and the surrounding Isahaya Station area.

Activities include stage performances by various artists, local food stalls, and special projects such as a stamp rally and free passes for the Shimabara Railway. As part of the ‘GO WEST4’ anniversary project, a special one-day unlimited ride T-shirt ticket for the Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen will be available for purchase starting September 3.
