Isaiah Grant receives surprise Nebraska football offer

Isaiah Grant, a four-star wide receiver from Sioux City East High School, received a surprise scholarship offer from the Nebraska football program during a recent visit to Lincoln. The 6-foot-2 prospect attended the Huskers' 49-21 victory over Ohio, where he met with head coach Matt Rhule and wide receivers coach Daikiel Shorts Jr.

Grant, ranked as a top wide receiver prospect in the 2028 class, noted that the personal connections and relationships within the Nebraska program were significant factors during his visit. He expressed surprise at the on-site offer, stating that the experience opened his eyes to considering the Big Ten program more seriously.

In addition to Nebraska, Grant currently holds offers from several other schools, including Oregon, Iowa, Iowa State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Kansas, and Wisconsin.
