Isaiah John discusses Leon's evolution in ‘The Drop: A Snowfall Saga’

Actor Isaiah John discusses his return to the role of Leon Simmons in the FX and Hulu series ‘The Drop: A Snowfall Saga’. John notes that his personal growth over the decade since booking the original series, ‘Snowfall’, has mirrored the evolution of his character from a hot-headed young hustler to a more mature man.

In the new series, which begins in 1991, the character continues to grapple with unresolved trauma and his complicated history, including his connection to Franklin. John stated that he aims to honor the mental state of the character following the events of the original series.
