Isaiah Okudara pleads guilty to mailing drugs from California to Maui

Isaiah Okudara, 39, of Maui, has pleaded guilty to one count of possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and cocaine. The plea follows an investigation into the mailing of three parcels from San Diego, California, to Kahului, Hawaii, in February 2025.

The intercepted packages contained approximately 8.5 kilograms of methamphetamine and 6 kilograms of cocaine. According to court records and DEA information, cocaine retails for between $15,000 and $28,000 per kilogram in Hawaii, while methamphetamine retails for between $5,000 and $6,000 per kilogram.

Okudara, who has 14 prior state convictions, faces a federal sentence of at least 10 years and up to life in prison, along with a potential fine of up to $10 million. Sentencing is scheduled for February 10, 2027, before U.S. District Judge Shanlyn A. S. Park.
