Isaiah Williams faces early struggles with New York Jets

Isaiah Williams, a standout punt returner for the New York Jets during the 2025 season, has faced a difficult start to the 2026 campaign. After a successful 2025 where he averaged 14.1 yards per punt return and scored two touchdowns, Williams struggled during a second-game matchup against the Green Bay Packers in rainy conditions.

During that game, Williams fumbled twice and received an illegal fair catch signal penalty within the first quarter. Since those incidents, observations suggest a change in his involvement, as he has not returned any punts in the seven quarters of football played by the Jets following those errors.
