Ischia: Three arrested for torture and group sexual violence
Three individuals in their 20s have been arrested in Ischia following an investigation into the torture and group sexual violence of a 20-year-old victim with a mild disability. The suspects face charges including conspiracy to commit torture, continuous and group sexual violence aggravated by the victim's vulnerability, private violence, and the illicit distribution of sexually explicit videos.
According to the Naples Prosecutor's Office, the suspects allegedly filmed the degrading acts and distributed the footage via messaging applications and chats. The investigation, conducted by the Ischia Police Commissioner, began after the victim filed a formal complaint.
Judicial authorities have issued arrest warrants and ordered searches to seize electronic devices for further analysis. The investigation is being coordinated by the fourth section of the Naples Prosecutor's Office, which specializes in gender-based violence and the protection of vulnerable populations.
