ISE 2027 to expand in Barcelona with focus on broadcast and creative tech

The Integrated Systems Events (ISE) 2027 exhibition will expand its physical footprint in Barcelona, growing 7 per cent larger than the 2026 edition. Under the theme ‘When Worlds Unite’, the event is scheduled to take place from February 2 to 5, 2027, utilizing both the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via and the Fira Montjuïc venues.

Managing Director Mike Blackman stated that the expansion reflects the blurring boundaries between audiovisual (AV), IT, broadcast, content production, and creative technology. The event will incorporate more focus on broadcast production, gaming engines, and real-time production, as technologies from these sectors increasingly integrate into corporate and immersive environments.

In addition to the main exhibition, the expansion includes the Spark event and the EdTech Congress Barcelona, which will be held at Fira Montjuïc on February 3 and 4. These additions aim to connect the AV industry with creators, technologists, and the education community.
